Airports often mark the beginning or end of a journey, and is the last place people see before being transported somewhere new or somewhere close to be called home. A forgotten component of the airport and the romanticism of planes are the cars that carry people to their penultimate destination. Yes, most people get dropped off or carpool, but for some, the airport parking lot is the home of the car until you return, and no one wants their home to be dirty and unkempt. Wicomico County, Maryland is seeking bids from qualified vendors to contract and perform long term parking lot maintenance for the SBY Airport, because they know that a cleaner parking lot is not only easier to navigate, but also gives the impression of safety and care for their customers and travelers.
